Olaoluwa (“Ola”) has experience advising on policy, project development, upstream and midstream gas asset sale and purchase, upstream oil and gas operations as well as regulatory compliance. She advised on several M&A transactions and restructurings relating to upstream assets and midstream infrastructure such as advising a handful of bidders acquiring interests in marginal fields from the 2020 Marginal Field Bid Rounds and on the acquisition of a 30 mmscf/d Gas Plant in Ebedei, Delta State. She has also advising on the development of a circa 30-60mmscf/d gas processing plant.

With the passage of the Petroleum Industry Act, 2021, which provides for the overhaul of the legal, regulatory and institutional framework governing petroleum operations, she routinely advises the firm’s clients on the impact of the Petroleum Industry Act 2021 on their operations as well as the key compliance items arising from the Act.

Prior to working at ENR Advisory, Ola had interned at the London office of Slaughter and May. She has also had in-house legal experience in financial institutions such as Ecobank Nigeria and American Express London.
