On March 7, 2019, ADVISORY hosted gas producers and gas project developers to a business luncheon discussion on the Nigerian Gas Flare Commercialisation Programme (“NGFCP”).
The event was organised to commemorate the return to the firm of one of its founding partners, Gbite Adeniji, who had taken a leave of absence to serve as Senior Technical Adviser (Upstream and Gas Policy and Regulations) to the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources between January 2016 and December 2018. The NGFCP was one of Gbite Adeniji’s signature achievements, together with the Flare Gas (Prevention of Waste and Pollution) Regulations, 2018, the Nigerian Gas Policy, 2017, the Nigerian Petroleum Policy, 2016 and a host of other reform initiatives.
The discussion was led by Gbite Adeniji and Pacer Guobadia.
