Emmanuel is an associate at the firm with experience in advising Nigerian and international players across the entire energy value chain on Projects, M & A and Finance matters. His strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly enable him to deliver high-quality results for clients.

He has provided drafting, review and negotiation support on several notable projects as well as investments in upstream and midstream infrastructure projects, including the development of a $400 Million LNG Project, a $3.5 billion fertiliser and Gas Processing Project, and a solar-powered energy grid in the Lekki Free Zone. Emmanuel has also provided transaction and corporate-commercial support on notable transactions such as the financing of Savannah Energy Plc’s S$61.5 million acquisition of Sinopec International Petroleum and Exploration Company Nigeria Limited, the holder of a 49% participating interest in Petroleum Mining Lease 20; and the restructuring of a leading petroleum company following the enactment of the Petroleum Industry Act 2021.
