Rasheed Belo-Osagie - Rasheed is a Senior Associate at the firm who routinely advises project developers (local and foreign), financial institutions and government agencies on projects and transactions in the energy sector, specifically the oil and gas, electricity, and mining sectors.

His experience in the energy sector is vast and includes advising on project development, deal structuring, corporate restructuring, acquisitions and divestments, corporate and project finance, general legal and regulatory advisory, policy development and advocacy.

Some of his notable deals in recent years include:

·   Advising Savannah Energy Plc on the US$61.5 million acquisition of Sinopec International Petroleum and Exploration Company Nigeria Limited, the holder of a 49% participating interest in Petroleum Mining Lease 20.

·   Advising the Nigerian government on the Nigerian Gas Flare Commercialization Programme 2022.

·  Advising the Transcorp consortium on the acquisition of Afam Power Plc and Afam Three Fast Power Limited, a circa 1000MW capacity power generation company.
